The video in a drunk driving case, where the dash camera is looking forward at the car ahead and seeing what’s going on, is very helpful, to see how the person that was pulled over is performing the communication between them both. Was the officer clear? Did the officer give the person enough chances? Is the officer taking into consideration certain things, like physical ailment, or the time of day? Is it dark at night? How is the ground, is it even, is it difficult to walk on? So those sorts of things we really look at in the video, to see if there was something there, that wasn’t done right, or would be unfair to the person pulled over.
