Defending OWI/DUI “Super Drunk” Charges In Michigan

Attorney J. Dallo explains the charge of OWI/DUI as “super drunk”. High BAC over .17. If you’ve been arrested for an OWI/DUI offense in Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, or anywhere in Oakland County, Michigan, or surrounding areas, contact Dallo Law, P.C. at 248-290-9962 to schedule a free and confidential consultation to discuss your defense.

Some of the ways I challenge a super drunk charge, which is a blood-alcohol level of .17 or above, is by looking at the instruments used and by the officer’s experience. Those are really the two main ways. Also by the client’s testimony regarding how much they had to consume. A super drunk charge is more severe in its penalties. The fines, the penalties, and its effect on a person’s license. That’s really where it starts out. And it can have, deleterious effects on someone’s license, their ability to drive, and we have to challenge that of course because of the consequences on someone’s ability to drive and on their record.
