The impact of an OWI/DUI conviction on a person’s record affects their ability to work, because their license might be restricted, it might be suspended. So there’s that sort of impact there, and so I try to do everything I can to mitigate the factors that would just make my client’s life even more difficult, such as more points on their record. And more points leads to higher insurance bills, I mean it just becomes this downward spiral. Because I care about their future and I want them to be successful, to get past this situation in their life, of course, if they have to take care of costs, let’s take care of those. But I do my best to mitigate those things, like I said so that they can move on with their life.
