Often times, domestic violence cases are centered around some other prime issue. And that might be a custody issue, it might be an infidelity issue, it might be some sort of breakdown in their relationship. Sometimes we find that there was no actual violence, that it may have been anger, or hurt or frustration. And it ends up becoming some sort of domestic violence charge. So we look at that. I try to examine to see if there is something else that is going on there, to perhaps point out to persecution that you don’t have a domestic violence case here. You have these high emotions that are running that this couple is at its it. And something may have happened or a neighbor may have heard yelling and screaming, and called the police, in thinking that there was something happening, but in fact no violence occured.
